MAXXLinks part number SMX-122270T is a replacement for original equipment sway bar end links used on 2000-2006 Toyota Tundra . MAXXLinks Heavy Duty Sway Bar End Links were developed by the innovators at SuspensionMAXX as an extremely durable, cost efficient and long lasting solution for the quick wearing OEM end links – which are known to have a short service life. The MAXXLinks end link system replaces the wear prone OEM ball-in-socket style link with a simple and robust high quality design. 100% manufactured in the US and covered under the MAXXLinks Limited Warranty.

MAXXLinks Heavy Duty Sway Bar End Links use thermoplastic/urethane bushings to perform better and last longer than the original equipment ball-in-socket design. Eyelet links are manufactured with ultra-high strength 4140 treated alloy steel and electroplated with yellow zinc dichromate for corrosion resistance. MAXXLinks come complete with stainless steel washers and locking fasteners and are maintenance free. MAXXLinks can be used as high-quality replacement parts or as a preventative maintenance measure.

MAXXLinks simply replace original equipment sway bar end links. Installation takes just forty five minutes to an hour and is supported by the SuspensionMAXX Technical Support Program. SMX-122270T has a center to center measurement of 7.0” .

Measure the sway bar end link from the center line of the lower mounting point to the centerline of the upper mounting point. Our links are built to the specific center to center measurements.

First select the link style you need based on your year make and model. Then add the desired measurement to the end of the part number. For example, if you need an 8-1/2 “ sway bar end link for your 2006 Dodge Ram 2500. The link style would be SMX-1226. The 8.5” version would be SMX-122685 or for an 8” version SMX-122680. We can build you a sway bar link for your RAM up to 12” Center to Center! Depending on your model Please verify the style of end link you need for your truck. Dodge has changed the sway bar links in some cases every two years and we have done our best to narrow the sway bar links down to the exact year make and model.

Lift kits often come with screw on extensions for your sway bar links or they use a drop bracket for the frame that allows you to keep the OE sway bar links. Most drop brackets are 2.0 -2.5” and also move the sway bar forward for additional clearance to the coil spring.

We experienced and had customers try the Adjustable Heim joint style end links and at first they are great. As the Heim joints wear over time they end up loose and noisy. No longer capable of keeping the sway bar firmly mounted to the axle.

Your sway bar should be on a neutral angle, parallel with the frame.

You can hire a professional installer to help you.

After leveling my 06' Tundra double cab, there would be a horrendous popping sound going over dips and speed bumps, the truck felt kind of floaty through turns and curves in the road, though the Eibachs did a good enough job of keeping it steady. I should've bought these sooner, the difference in handling is night and day from factory, I never realized just how flexed my sway bar was with the stock linkages, until unfastened them and went to put the new Leveling ones on. These links are a must have on a lift/level, turns are sharp and stable, the vehicle feels well planted and doesn't wander anymore. The install was easy, just follow the procedures.

Great customer service, heard nothing but good reviews from these stabilizer links. Can't wait to install on my 1st gen tundra with my hellwig 1.25 sway bar and feel the difference in steering

I don't normally write reviews but I felt I needed to for this product. I didn't realize how much body roll I had with the stock sway bar end links until I installed these. Much improved handling going around corners. As much as I love this product the one issue I have is with one part of the installation. When the stud is installed in the lower mount, and you are ready to start tightening the top nut, it is near impossible to hold the bottom nut with anything so the whole thing doesn't turn. As it sits in the bottom mount, the nut is covered by the gusset. You need a VERY thin open ended wrench to hold that bottom nut so it won't spin while tightening....otherwise, solid product

These things are the real deal. Ever since a got my boss lift put in my 2002 Tundra (2.5 in.) I've heard bangs and pops every now and then and was never able to figure out what it was. I bought these thinking it wouldn't hurt since everything else had been changed already. Installed myself in the garage and totally fixed the problem. These things are robust, look great, and really work wonders in a lifted first gen! Thank you guys so much! Make more first gen Tundra stuff!
