GM removed the factory welded on steering stabilizer mount for the 2016 model year 2500HD trucks. If you own a 2016-2024 GM 2500HD or 3500HD and would like to add a steering stabilizer bracket suspensionMAXX has the kit for you! We have tested the Bilstein 5100 steering dampener on our 2016 Chevy 2500HD.  After testing, we discovered that using a single steering stabilizer with a nitrogen gas charge will create a condition where the vehicle will continually pull to the right side.  Using a nitrogen charged stabilizer will require a minimum of 2 units to resist the gas charge of the other equally.  That is why we only currently offer the Rancho non-gas charged steering stabilizer. The 5100 will function adequately, but you can expect that the truck will always drift to the right. What about FOX? FOX does not currently offer a stabilizer for this application.

No, you do not have to unload your torsion bar to install the Suspension MAXX steering stabilizer bracket. Our design is patent pending, with a keyed retainer around the lower control arm bolt. Loosen the nut and carefully back out the lower control arm bolt, just enough to slide the bracket into place. Then insert the key into the slotted bracket.  This unique design allows for easy installation without needing a torsion bar unloading tool.  See our installation video: https://youtu.be/BORozCm6ppE

If you wish to return your SuspensionMAXX product please contact us by phone or email. Fill out the Return Form Bellow and mail it back with your return. You must notify us within 90 days of receiving your shipment. Non-warranty returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and all shipping charges are nonrefundable. Items must be in new condition (No Exceptions), any cosmetic wear or damage from improper packaging in return shipping will increase the restocking fee to 25%. You are responsible for the return shipping cost and insurance fee (if desired). Our staff will inspect returned products, and issue credit promptly. No returns after 90 days from date of delivery. Installed on my 24 GMC Denali 2500HD. Went on seemlessly. Did not have to shave the hole for the tube as the size was fine, but I did have to slightly tap the tube into the hole due to the sway bar obstructing a straight on insertion.

Installed this kit on my 2017 GMC Denali Duramax 4x4.....It was shipped extremely fast. Took about 1 hour to install and that was goofing around a bunch with my son who helped me. Went for test drive and had ZERO wiggle in my steering wheel. I have K02 tires that are just a bit aggressive and oversize. It was starting to wiggle more and more. I am so glad I made this upgrade to my truck.

Strongly recommend for anyone with a 2020+HD and is experiencing wandering and bump-steer. Was struggling to fix the wandering issue on my stock 23’ and this was a big improvement! Install was easy (30 min) and shipping was super quick.

2016 Chevy Silverado 2500 W/ 3.5 lift and Cognito pitman - idler arms. All I have to say is this.. Customer Service with Suspension Maxx is INCREDIBLE. I ordered the steering stabilizer bracket W/ shock and didn't realize my Cognito set up. Well , They sent me the bracket to accomodate for the Cognito Yes, AT NO CHARGE. * If your looking for a company that assist you with the product they offer look no further than Suspension maxx. It may sound like I'm related to them with my post. Nope: I'm just a guy in Chicago that likes to work on my truck and appreciates great Customer service. Tom

2016 Chevy Silverado 2500HD - Steering Stabilizer *Easy installation. One thing to note : I have Cognito pitman and idler arm . So make sure you order the correct product for your modified truck. I didnt realize they have two types of products one for stock truck and one to accomodate a cognito system .

Worth every penny, put it on my 2016 Chevrolet 2500 Duramax that I leveled it made a huge difference in the steering wobble.

Just installed on a 2020 2500hd diesel. Took about 35 min and made all the difference in the steering feed back truck has level kit and aggressive treaded 35’s. Great product and quality

The best 180$ I have spent on my truck since it was leveled. I’ve had some steering wobble since leveling my 17 high country 2500hd and I was so disappointed with the quality of the ride I was getting afterwards. I guess I should have done some more research. But Suspension Maxx was my saving Grace today. After via UPS IN 2 days as promised. 35 minute install and didn’t even need to enlarge the hole in my crossmember. AWESOME AWESOME product. Well done Suspension MaXX. I only wish I would have used you guys for my leveling kit!

Great product! The notch for the lower control arm bolt genius. Calmed my 37’s and took the shimmy out of the steering wheel. A much better feel for cornering at speed.

Installed very easily on a 2020 duramax denali helped out a lot running 37s on stock wheels leveled .
